I’m sorry I haven’t been tweeting much about game design... I’m in a pretty deep slump in regards to self-esteem in my field, massive imposter syndrome, feeling like I’m letting everybody down. Partially new work things issues, partially disappointing someone I look up to.
Upset that the notion of imposters has entered this industry so heavily... all that should matter is that you do what you love
I know right? 2 years ago at GCAP, there was a talk about imposter syndrome and it was PACKED. I remember looking around and feeling weird about how pretty much everybody feels this way.
I'm just entering the field and I already feel like an impostor, struggle to introduce myself to people because I haven't published anything
