It's the creation of adventures! An indie role-playing game, the Powered by the Apocalypse system that was created for it spawned a bunch of awesome settings. Not really a book in itself as much as a tome for learning how to run the RPGs, but I'm enjoying reading it
Being a DM in high school and college really informed my game design senses... I wish I had time to play again

I believe it. Cooperative storytelling skills are key to good experience crafting, good game design. And yeah - tough to fit in campaigns nowadays. I'm learning how to get a smidge of it through story games and one shots!
