The end drags on a bit. Otherwise, definitely one of my favorites of 2017 too.
Finished Prey... my #2 game of 2017. But I like it better than just about every game that inspired it. My only complaint is that it's weird that your character talks frequently in recorded conversations but is silent as a PC. It is a plot heavy game and voicing would be good.

Interesting. I find voicing ruins most games for me. I prefer reading.

You might be able to turn down the voice volume...I didn't try that. But throughout the game people are like, "Why did you do X? What do you think of Y"? And the character is just silent.

I literally just sold it today. I found it very cumbersome to play. Maybe they were going for that, but I found it hard to play after a few hours. Wish I could have liked it more.

I get why the characters are silent in that case because they don't want to colour your opinions and let you decide ultimately their values. I know Bethesda tried it with Fallout 4 and it really didn't work out well. Might have avoided it for that reason.
