That sucks. I've used it since right around then too, but admittedly have continued to use my old version and never bought an upgrade past Sonar XL. Recorded a number of albums with it though, and will continue to do so.
So I haven't logged into the Cakewalk forums in a couple of months and just found out the whole product line is being cancelled. Been using it since 1997...

You're always welcome to join Reaper. :) It's *extremely* affordable and super flexible and the community and devs are really active and awesome. Bit of a steep learning curve due to its flexibility.
