So, @photoshop CC 2015 was telling me it would expire, finally gave in and am now updating to 2017.

As far as I can tell it just updates a bunch of stuff related to file management and integration with other Adobe products
All I really care about is being able to make art. Like how about improve the actual brush/pencil/eraser stuff. Make it work with tablets.

Maybe take a look at Clip Studio Paint and just copy what they do.
