cool thing about pixel art: you can load your entire frickin' game right at the start and never have to manage assets 'cause it's tiny.

yeah currently all of Celeste's pixel art / gameplay stuff is in a single 4096x2048 texture. Our backgrounds are (so far) surprisingly small

we have a bunch of other atlases for highres stuff (overworld, checkpoint previews, gui, fonts, etc, but the actual "gameplay" is one)
