display tech? I suppose something like old-style projectors might be of note
Can anyone think of unusual/obsolete/fictional display tech besides crt, lcd? Thinking of vector displays, lasers, other quirky things.

vectrex comes to mind. also i have a soft spot for the deeply weird way the Apple // HIRES graphics mode worked
