I bought a really old second-hand MBP for testing things on OSX, and it was unbearably slow to use and didn't support very much
The first Macbook Pro I ever purchased was for testing AV, but has the slowest interface I've ever used. Constant swirly loading cursors.

This one was new...even the apple store guys couldn't speed it up, though.

I picked up a MBP right beofre the unibody shift and at the time it was a beast. It's still being used by someone to this day.
