Kickstarter campaigns often don't ask for enough. I didn't kickstart AV, but I'd have needed at least $100k. Taxes, insurance, rewards...

@AxiomVerge But sometimes it means they're very aware, and set the target to what they consider reachable, planning on other funding too.
@EdDiGeronimo Right, like Iga's last kickstarter...that was handled pretty smartly as far as I can tell.
