I have watched one (1) tutorial video now and I realized I have been using this program completely wrong. It’s more a mashup of illustrator and photoshop and I need to switch my brain to really utilize it. Heh. Whoops.

I just use it like a photoshop where the Wacom/cintiq actually works predictably. It also has some cool perspective guides I used

There’s some interesting stuff with using the program’s vector layers and how it interacts with raster layers that I would like to explore. It just seemed silly for me to work like I did because... I could just use photoshop.
