Is there a consensus on the best sprite interpolator? I see Dain-App and Interprite. I got a fairly large sprite that I'd like to add frames to (like maybe double the frames?) and thought I'd see how well interpolating software works.
Okay I tried Dain... the results are actually too smooth looking and there would also be a lot of cleanup needed. The app is super rough and has a million settings you need to change a fiddle with, none of which are saved when you reopen it.
It would be neat if there was something built into the Gale or whatever editor that could interpolate between two given frames as opposed to the whole thing just to get you a basis to start from... Dain seems more useful for video?
