So far I'm liking Ghost of Tsushuma better than Assassins Creed Origins. I think one of the things helps is it's more stylized. In origins it kinda felt wrong assassinating dudes in the middle of a realistic feeling city with people trying to go about their daily lives
In Ghost it is more like the bad guys have driven everyone out so you feel like you are saving those beautiful towns rather than corrupting the peace with your bloodshed? So I'm actually glad for once that they are one dimensional.
I dislike that they make you fight dogs in some parts, but at least they don't give the dogs names and sympathetic whining noises. They are more like evil black shadows with mouths full of fangs that live only to kill you. But in AC you would be able to tame them.
While Origins was good, I felt Odyssey works much better thematically because the concept of an ancient greek hero was a lot more morally flexible. You can raise all the hell you want and it doesn't really break character.
I got it on sale but haven't started it. I figured I'll save it for the next break between major game releases
