The water company switched to a new payment system. I just need to input my account number. I'm using paperless billing, so I'll look up my number from their website. Oh look, they took it down and replaced it with a new system. I just need to input my account number.

When I've had those issues I've found the account number in an e-mail from them.

Did the paperless billing email you by chance?

Yeah, it just emails a link to the now-nonexistant website to tell you to get the bill yourself

There should be something like: Forgot password, or maybe one has to go to the physical address and request a new one? Hope it goes fix soon, it is annoying when stuff like that happens...

I was able to find the number in my banks bill pay system... not sure what 9ther people can do, though
