Got a whole track completely balanced with all the levels correct. Saved and reloaded, now it's super loud in all the wrong places and clipping. WTF. Completely unrelated, I could really do with a Xenogears remake.

You make the music as well? Which DAW do you use? That’s very interesting.
Currently using the Cakewalk Sonar Platinum... I know Bandlab has been improving it but don't really want to go through the hell that surely awaits if I try to migrate to the newer version.

Well in case this ever happens to you, I discovered that for some reason, clicking the "reset midi" button caused some of my Best Service Engine instruments to set their internal, only-visible-in-the-synth ui volume controls to 12 db instead of 0 db.
