I know I'll get better but I look at my pixel art and compare it to that of a person who has been doing it for years and thus begins the downward spiral of self hatred. How can I release this game with the pixel art looking like that? Then I look at Undertale and there's hope.
I heard somewhere that top athletes of the world compete with themselves and their own personal best rather than worry about others. I think this should work for pixel art, too.
