to add more context we're were thinking of adding more power nodes in randomizer on easy mode so I dug into the items files and found that already in it

Yeah there were at one point more power nodes but I forget the reasoning for why I didn't do that.

it was most likely to balance the game it was a good call, I figured since in randomizer you might not find all available power nodes I'd make things a bit easier by replacing a few notes with power node fragments or nodes to help balance the scales in the easy mode.
