Why do old people vote in such large numbers over young people? Realistically speaking, shouldn't young people be more invested in their future than the folks who most likely have less time on Earth to look forward to?

I’m a little disappointed that I haven’t seen many influencers/people online urging the younger generation to vote. It’s like “oh we love Bernie and all the memes of him. But we can’t be bothered to vote to actually help him.”

Its because we dont like any of the candidates and when we vote for independants they dont get the votes from the older generation so no one wins.

I also feel like it's the ability to just leave work and vote. Especially on a Tuesday, who is going to be more likely to be able to go out and wait potentially hours in line?
