Look I'm not telling you how to live your life but chana masala/curry flavored chickpeas as the key ingredient in your pasta sauce is amazing and if you're lazy like me you can make the whole dish in 15 minutes with most of it spent sitting around.

I am extremely lazy today and it is hot, so I chucked canned chickpeas in a pan with the tiniest bit of oil, a bunch of salt, and my preferred curry powder + chana masala powder + coriander powder, cooked til they dried out, add tin of tomatoes, cook down and add some pasta water
