@AxiomVerge During your development of Axiom Verge, what issues did you run into while working out AI or Enemy pathing in the 2d space? Was there ever a time you thought it would work better in 3d than 2d?

Opinion wise, Do you think the Metroidvania genre works better in a pixel style like Axiom Verge, or in a 2.5d esque style like Bloodstained Ritual of the Night?

It's probably slightly better with tiled graphics, since it makes the physical properties of the environment more intrinsic to the art assets.
