How insanely irresponsible of Disney to put themselves in a position where the 30-years-later sequel to a CULT movie, based on nothing more than the DVD special edition doing better than expected, needed to get 80% of the way to a billion dollars just to see profit on it. Unreal!

I love the world building, and I actually even like the characters. Clu is an all-time great villain and one stupid 30 second cut completely takes the needed context out of him that stages his character. There's talk of a sequel again. Nah, reboot it as a Disney+ TV series.
Tron could just as easily be Disney+'s Westworld. Anyone can see it.
