My recommendation is provisional; opening and fixing the switch requires good close-up vision. It's probably a matter of opening the tiny clicker switch and bending the curved metal bit back into shape. It's not trivial and will take some time.
Over the past year or two my close up vision went away... lol maybe my wife could hold the cell phone camera steady while I operate

I feel that. I've noticed my close-up vision has started diminishing as well. So it goes. :D
