Ah...I feel like I've heard lots of complaints about the G-series switches over the years. Don't know what you should do, but I can say that my MX Master has been flawless.

G602's worked well for me 12 hours a day for a year or two, but admittedly I've only had it for a year or two. The 6 side thumb buttons have been surprisingly useful.
