Is there anything more distracting than when the background music in a 3D game has some random ass instrument/voice/drum/etc stereo pan randomly so you think it's coming from somewhere in the world instead of just a weird background music thing

It’s the worst man, and I have kids so I already hear stuff in games that sound like kids crying and crap lol.
My kid's crying sounds just like the zombies in Days Gone and Evil Within

First off, if I may geek out a second- Axiom Verge is killer! Second- yeah, the crying/game sounds mix up is gonna live with me forever. They’ll be 35, out of the house, and I’ll be gaming & think they’re upset in their bedroom lol.
