side note I've read up on pure ECS a bunch and watched the blizzard GDC talk about it and I still don't really get the point of it vs having components with logic and data together

But for the types of games I typically make, where each enemy might move and behave completely differently from one another, the component system slows you down...at least it slows me down. By a lot.
