I've been wanting to make a small 2d game framework but run into portability stuff. I've coded an engine in C++ (super portable) but then actually writing a game in C++ isn't fun imo. C# is fun but it's not as portable as I want (although it's slowly getting better). Idk!

I've been extensively using both BRUTE and .Net, and my personal wish here would be that C# emancipates from the .Net environment. Like, keep using C# as a language for games, but removing all the managed memory stack and reflection to natively build things.

If you guys have any sway with Sickhead, it would be awesome to finally have BRUTE open-sourced and available to the masses. From what I’ve seen and heard, it solves the C# portability problem better than anything else available at the moment. Cc:
