it is with deep regret – as someone who looked past Orson Scott Card’s terrible self because he spent $15 on a video game that he enjoyed 10 years ago – that I acknowledge that Shadow Complex was a a bad game after all

there are enemies in the foreground and background that are so hard to aim at, especially when you’re fighting a room full of them, but the kicker is that they all reset after loading a save. not your health, tho!

(and just FYI Axiom Verge remains one of my favorites, and discovering it at E3 2014 remains a highlight of the only show I’ve ever attended. it’s a gem even now)
