That's interesting. I have always felt 480 x 272 was a bit too zoomed out but it divides nicely into 540p and 1080p and that was the deciding factor. I wonder how many Samuses are in a NES Metroid screen.

I like Axiom Verge's zoom level. I mean, look at Super Metroid, how did we even know where we were going? I can't count the number of times I blundered into an enemy because I couldn't see more than ten feet ahead of me. I also love the big rooms where AV zooms out even further.
