@AxiomVerge is there a reason you decided to go with Monogame vs something like SDL or SMFL?

Mainly because I started development for the 360 and XNA was really convenient and well supported at the time. I'm still not sure in all this time there is something I'd prefer that is also cross platform with PS4, XB1, Switch, etc.

Do you miss pointers and references? And there’s something beautiful in how nice and organized header files are, those are the only reasons I’m hesitant to drop c++

The main place I miss them is when you have an array of structs and you wish you could pass around a reference to one of the structs in the array. As far as I know you can't do that and have to pass around a reference to the array and the index, or a full copy of the struct.
