Can I ask quickly why? Just curious
Well I was bad at it and kept walking long distances and dying at the end. I felt like it was empty and repititious, and wondered if maybe I don't like open world games anymore. But then I played Andromeda and Horizon Zero Dawn and I realized I just didn't like BotW itself.
Wow, impressive how things are subjective, I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum. I find BOTW very engaging and the best open world ever played, and Horizon just the usual open world stuff, although beautiful. I played Horizon after 150 hours of BOTW.
