Moving joy! Just found out Alastair's Nevada insurance, Hometown Health, won't allow us to cancel until the end of April. And we can't get him California insurance until they do so, he goes a month without insurance! Yay America.

Isn't moving considered one of those life events that you can use to cancel/subscribe to new insurance?
For some reason moving doesn't allow it to take effect until May 1st either. Termination is supposed to allow it to happen faster, but not if they refuse to terminate it.
