In early builds of AV, Trace is in a train wreck rather than a lab explosion. So the soundtrack has some train-like sound effects in it that ended up orphaned from their original purpose. It was supposed to be like he was still hearing the last sounds from his moment of death.

I knew nothing about it, tried it at a show because everyone else was focusing on bloodborne and after a few minutes I knew I'd be buying it when it was released. My heart sank when the kids after me didn't use the headphones :<
It could be worse, I saw a guy pick up the headphones from whatever game was next to it at a show. He didn't seem to notice anything was wrong.
