i am a little worried about that. link's awakening's chiptunes are so beautiful and memorable to me i hope they do a good job.
The new link's awakening theme song with all of the wind instruments sounds a bit shrill and/or cartoony to me... do you think this is just for the trailer or that is the actual overworld music?

It's not really Nintendo's style but it would be neat if they did an option. But they usually go whole-hog when modernizing their games.

I actually love the original's aesthetics but I always found the resolution to be overly claustrophobic ... it will be nice to have it on the expansive switch screen.

Looks too much like a Yoshi or Minecraft based (3D Dot Hero, DQ Builders) games. I mean, a style like A Link Between Worlds would be better in my opinion.

Idunno I'd says it's a bit too early to really say. A bit unrelated I just remembered how I traded my Pokemon Blue version for Links Awakening DX on the bus. Best decision of my life. I went on to master the game years later on http://Retroachievements.org 2 times for each version.
