Got a user who doesn't seem to have access to his own C:\Users\<name>\Documents, where DRM free versions of AV try to save games. I had him try this MS support solution but no worky: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-files/document-folders-marked-read-only-after-upgrade-to/4f00d3fe-82b0-4e6d-a92a-f81751aa6f51?auth=1&ranMID=43674&ranEAID=je6NUbpObpQ&ranSiteID=je6NUbpObpQ-oX1QLe6qhdlkcQt0aNzpeg&epi=je6NUbpObpQ-oX1QLe6qhdlkcQt0aNzpeg&irgwc=1&OCID=AID681541_aff_7795_1243925&tduid=(ir__tsdwqtnt6y3rjrxecpplehzy9n2xhcaps3vzsmwn00)(7795)(1243925)(je6NUbpObpQ-oX1QLe6qhdlkcQt0aNzpeg)()&irclickid=_tsdwqtnt6y3rjrxecpplehzy9n2xhcaps3vzsmwn00 … Any ideas?

Kind of wild. This is where EA games have traditionally put saves. Is %appdata% more reliable?

I have no idea...I was just using the FNA/Monogame/XNA default, assuming it must have been chosen for a good reason. Maybe the reason Steam gets away with it is that once it's added to the firewalls whitelist, saves for all games are, as well?
