Whenever I think about this, I always arrive, "do you think there is such a thing as magic, and if so, is consciousness magic"? 'Magic' being anything fundamentally not describable by algorithms/theorems/language

Philosopher Daniel Dennett, who has written a lot about consciousness has an analogy about magic. I forget exactly how it goes, but there's a magician who performs magic tricks & when people ask how he does it and he shows them the trick they reply "oh, so it's not REAL magic."

When in fact, it actually is real magic. What people mean by "real magic" is actually performing stuff that's not possible, which is fake magic.
