Thinking about Evil Within at the moment, but seriously it includes a lot of others, even some of my favorite Silent Hill games.
It is hard to be scared by the spooky audio/visuals in horror games when they actually just give you a headache.

It's hard to be scared by games. I used to experience 'fun' horror in games, but it stopped after I had kids.

But then wouldn't it be horrifying to realize you're only getting a headache from playing a game? Imagine the sheer dread of realizing the rest of your life playing horror games will always end up in migraines.
