I wish there were more stories like San Junipero, stories about people who, for one reason or another, are still waiting/looking for their first real experience of closeness/trust/connection/love, after their teens, 20s, or even 30s are behind them. Those people exist.
It's weird realizing that most TV, film, games...I guess fiction of any kind, really, seems to be about the young... so you grow up with this expectation that all the good stuff happens before you're 30 or not at all, which is kinda stressful

I'm 35 and I'd be lying if I said this type of thing hasn't had that kind of effect on me. Theres alot about life I legitimately feel like I missed and will never have now due to my age. Whether that's all on me, fiction, society or all 3 I cant say, but it is what it is
