It's only the backup. They don't lock local saves. That would be bananas.

Yeah, I misinterpreted the error, which comes up on every game that doesn't have a cloud save (only once it would seem). Call off the cavalry, sorry everyone!

It's not your fault, this is clearly a
@NintendoAUNZ thing. I checked some other games, looks like most of the cartridges that I DIDNT load while on the trial have not backed up to the cloud so they're throwing an error message.
