Just did some rough calculations, and I think about 2000 people played @ChasmGame , @AxiomVerge, Salt & Sanctuary at #PAXWest2018. Have to do a full accounting, but the show roughly cost $6000, or $3/demo. Profits on games are abt $14/unit so we need a 22% conversion to justify.

How did the merch offset that cost and how do you calculate the opportunity cost with potential reach of press/influencers that covered the booth/games?

Yeah I think these shows are more about press and influencers and general presence than the raw sales from attendees...
