Is there a workaround for the super-slow replace symbol functionality in Visual Studio 2015? Assume I *have* to use Visual Studio 2015.

Yeah, the thing is I usually just want it to replace the symbol in whatever scope it exists, not all occurances...

Like redefing each single composition of the string with individual variables and then make a conditional to replace the specific one? String1 = varA + VarB + VarC + VarB + VarD instead of String1 = "this is a sentence" (Forgive me if i am lost)

I mean when you right click on the symbol and choose "rename", how it highlights all occurrences and tries to show you the change in real time as you type, making it take forever as you press each key, rather than replacing after you h it enter
