That worked a treat! The md5 sum of my SDL2 lib is 7c22d372d6dfdd47a4fe61ac845981ca and the file size is 1232520. Now if we could also fix the audio stuttering, somehow. It sounds like the audio buffers are too small and there's some crackling noises
I fixed that by setting the Launch Options in Steam as follows: PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 %command% It now rocks! I'm not sure how steam works but perhaps you can add these improvements as defaults for linux/64bit? or at least mention them in a troubleshooting guide.
