Even though I make video games, almost all of my initial work is in notebooks. Only when it is time to start coding & drawing do I translate that notebook into a digital space.
My planner is paper, too. And my journal. My shopping list, to-do list... I love notebooks. 
One thing I do miss about working for "the man" is writing ideas on a notepad for me to work on when I got home... like they get to gestate there a bit

Keeps you going. Love it. I write myself a post-it note every night to remind myself what I was doing so in the morning I can pick up where I left off. Feels good to get things down on paper.
