Finished God of War last night. Love the zelda-ish map design and exploring, but not the optional grinding for loot to defeat the uber hard valkyrie boss

I imagine the nifleheim/muspelheim trials were added to artificially extend the life of the game. There is some pressure from publishers/platforms to add this kind of thing (especially with achievements) and I wonder of that was the case here

Haven't played a lot of witcher 3 yet. Do you really need that armor to finish the game? I don't mind a massive grind wall as long as i can just finish the game by my own hand (dark souls esque)

This was the worst thing about Sleeping Dogs. You could get the triad points easily with story/side missions, but the cop points for doing good things was largely only available in story missions that you had to replay in their entirety to hopefully get a higher cop score.
