Had a friend from HS that took their life while on a deployment. It used to be seen as a stigma to go get help too. I'm glad it's such a changing culture because it definitely isn't something that should just be told to "suck it up"
I’m sorry to hear that man. The stigma behind seeking help has been negative for so long but with the increase of how many admit to suffering from some type of mental disease, it’s finally becoming more normalized and pushed for. Def not something to be overlooked.

Yeah man. I'm happy it's been normalized. Everyone needs some guidance some time and being told that it's weak or silly only makes things worse in the long run.
