It's not that lying is too harsh a term for what Trump does. It's that it's too light a term for what he does.

Dems need to go faster. Trump's lifetime strategy has been running out the clock. He does this to dodge accountability, overwhelming law enforcement and attempting to exhaust opponents. Meanwhile the atrocities continue. Act now: this is a crisis, not a little legal dispute.

BREAKING: Ex-State Dept official confirms Trump approved $2M to be paid to N Korea for Otto Warmbier’s release. So, Trump paid $2M to N Korean Gov’t for Warmbier, while in a coma that was caused by the N Koreans, then lied about it. This SHOULD end his presidency. It’s grotesque.

Lindsey Graham on removing Bill Clinton from office: “You don’t even have to be convicted of a crime to lose your job in this constitutional republic if this body determines your conduct as a public official is clearly out of bounds in your role.”

Today we commemorate the 74th Anniversary of the Liberation of Concentration Camp. Anne Frank was killed here, and 40,000 other victims are buried but not identified.

If Barr will answer committee questions, but not attorney questions, then committee members should ask the questions that the lawyers would have asked. Beat him at his own game.

They see hesitation as an invitation to further abuse. We see the evidence for this daily. So, please, this is not the time for hand-wringing. It is past the time even for alarms. It is the time for tough, assertive, aggressive Congressional action.

Trump and McConnell & Co. think playing hardball, trampling over laws and traditions and standards, is just smart politics. We who oppose them must recognize this and that the only thing that will stop them is to successfully use the law to stop them and make them pay a price.

If officials ignore their obligations to appear before Congress, seek to obstruct justice further, prosecute them. If they lie to Congress, prosecute them. If they won't cooperate, withhold funding for their programs and salaries.

Now is the time to enforce the law, put violators in jail, launch intensive impeachment hearings, dig for new evidence of his many crimes, make the case and then make it again and again. If the Senate doesn't convict him, fine...a well made case will persuade the public to do so.

It’s not a hard pattern to discern. Insecure white man, right wing propaganda, online radicalization, an AR-15, a vulnerable population that’s been vilified. High time we saw this for what it is.

It would be very satisfying to watch the impeachment of Mnuchin and Barr.

The solution, if Mnuchin continues to refuse, is simple: “Congress should hold him in contempt tomorrow. The contempt can be a precursor to formal impeachment proceedings against Mnuchin for refusing to perform his duties as Treasury Secretary.”

I’m old enough to remember that illegal campaign contribution scheme that Trump coordinated & directed to help get himself elected & continued from the Oval Office. Evidence from that has not not been fully aired & must be part of any possible impeachment proceeding discussion.
