Community Manager friends, once you answer a DM from someone on your company server, how often do you get follow-up messages where it's clear they're young and just think you're free to chat?

9/10. Discord, Twitter, doesn't matter the platform. Here's the thing though, I love chatting with them - it's just a shame most of the time I get to isn't during work hours.

Hey if I’m doing a Sports Management degree, would that be any. Good for a community management job somewhere like Hi-Rez?

You can come to community management from a lot of different fields! I came from Journalism myself, where my background in writing really helped me handle social media well. Same goes for community management - it's a lot of different areas slammed into one.

I'm not super familiar with sports myself, (I'm that guy that makes sports ball jokes in the corner of Super Bowl Sunday), but if you're getting experience managing a brand & those who represent/engage with it? It sounds like an okay start!
