Community managers are, without a doubt, some of the most hardworking individuals in our industry.
From the depths of Twitter threads to the heights of stream chats, they're always speaking with players to develop meaningful communications.

Over the years I've come to appreciate just how many hats community managers wear on the daily, changing out hourly as needed.
We're community, sure - but we're also brand managers, marketing coordinators, social media managers, producers, copywriters, and crisis specialists.1 reply 0 retweets 3 likesShow this thread -
During my years in this industry, I've learned that every hat we wear can often take a toll on us - especially when those hats continue to shift without end. And yet, we push on to build something great - for the players, for the development team, and for ourselves.

Joined by this drive we all share for community, we have become a community of our own.
Supporting each other, driving our fellow CMs forward, and helping to share knowledge that can further the goal of creating great communities for our respective projects.1 reply 0 retweets 1 likeShow this thread -
Community managers & the work we do is invaluable to our industry (and so many others outside of it), even to those who don't see the impact it makes on the daily. It may take many different hats, but we get it done!

I'm truly lucky to work in a field where we're so closely knit & willing to help one another for the good of our players. So whether you're part of one community, or a part of many, be sure to thank those who help shape them each day this

If you're made it this far, thanks for reading my little essay for today's hashtag.
Community management isn't easy, and I'm thankful to see so many of greats out there getting support today!
Let's make it a daily thing though, yeah?
