ABSOLUTELY! My mother reads and loves them. One of the biggest parts about World of Warcraft's universe is the lore. And let me tell you, the books? Full of the best!

This, this, this, thisthisthis. THE biggest reason I play WoW is for the story far beyond anything else. The world is rich, the characters are nuanced and I can spend literal hours pouring over random wiki pages learning more about intricate parts of Azeroth.

110%! I've poured countless hours into the books, audio stories, and videos. Blizzard actually has a team of 'Lore Keepers' who maintain all the lore elements throughout every medium, it's pretty wild.

More recently too, you have excellent writers (such as my personal hero
@ChristieGolden) who are doing in-game quests AND novels. The team is just incredible.2 replies 0 retweets 2 likes -

And if you REALLY don't want to play the game to find out the parts that the novels and out of game content doesn't cover, I can recommend Nobbel, who does fantastic lore videos and character deep dives which help a lot. https://www.youtube.com/user/Nobbel87/videos … (Spoiler warning, obvs)

Nobbel's incredible! There's so many killer WoW lore videos. I also recommend Lore Watch as a podcast. There's a podcast which had 7-10 minute episodes talking about various secrets around Azeroth too, but the name isn't coming to me RN.
