What a surreal week this is for me. It is my 5-year anniversary at Blizzard. On top of that, things I've edited are now in WoW - a game I fell in love with 12 years ago. I dreamed about working here, and in some small part on WoW, and its crazy to think that became a reality.

I am so indebted to
@ovalteens and@framesplicer for letting me start editing all those years ago. I'm so thankful for@Anna_B_Morgan being an amazing mentor. And most recently, I'm so so grateful to@TerranGregory and IGC for welcoming me to their incredible, tight-knit team.3 replies 0 retweets 15 likesShow this thread -
At first I was worried the things I wanted to try would be too offbeat, but Terran was into it and an advocate for me on some odd things we ended up doing (compared to what people are used to seeing in our in-game cinematics). For that I cannot express my gratitude enough.

All our in-game cinematics are a little different this time around as we experimented with some fun new ways to tell stories. Lars (our other IGC editor) and I had an absolute blast putting these together, and really hope that everyone enjoys them as much as we loved making them.

To the Alliance, I really hope you enjoy some of the weirder stuff you'll be seeing as you quest. Wont spoil anything, but one in particular was a massive labor of love for me and I knew as soon as Terran pitched the idea that I was dying to put it together.

I haven't had the opportunity to complete Drustvar just yet, but it's easily been one of the best zones in World of Warcraft's history. The lore, the risks, the weird ideals, and the mystery - y'all have done an incredible job.
