Tlaib is just plain nuts. Her "people" (thought she was an American) have done nothing for hundreds of years but murder Jews. They vow to kill them all, drive them into the sea. She is an utter disgrace. Filled with hate for Israel and President Trump. WHO voted for her?
The historical irony is if the Palestinian Arabs had only been a little less murder-y and a little more willing to accommodate Jewish refugee immigration, the Jewish State would have very possibly never come into being.
Or, at the very least, the Palestinians too would be celebrating the 70th anniversary of their own state.
It's important to point out the violent antisemitism of many Arabs in Palestine at that time and how it became political mainstream (think Mufti of Jerusalem), at the same time I feel that such a generalizing response is a political mistake.
Highlighting the stories of individual Arabs who did indeed provide refuge, who welcomed Jews and supported their aspirations to a safe haven in form of a nationstate - and how they were persecuted by fellow Arabs - could do more to provide a counter-narrative.
