I would think it would be somewhat easy to just automate copying content off of a webpage, but maybe not?
Well, let's see. Are you going to cache the results, or add all of the youtube traffic to the teamtrees page just to scrape a number off it? If you're caching the data, for how long? If this system is already in use, you need to ensure you're not breaking anything.
If you're caching, where are you storing and invalidating it? How do you distribute the cache across YouTube's CDNs? Is there a method to manually reset the cache if something goes wrong?
